Welcome to our cosy 1960's Horsebox

It has a cosy double duvet over the Luton where you can watch the Milky Way through the roof with a woodburner stove to keep you warm whilst your horse is tucked up in a stable nearby. Wake up to a breakfast cooked on the induction hob,
prepare an evening meal in the slow cooker, then go out for the day exploring our lovely Wiltshire Downs, and on your return you can enjoy your supper sitting on the outdoor deck watching the sun go down.
Of course you don't need to bring a horse to enjoy our beautiful countryside.
It can be a unique experience for those who have never owned a horse.
There are many gardens and National Trust places within comfortable reach as well as the
Cotswolds and
all they have to offer and of course dogs are welcome too.

About us

My name is Rosemary Greenway and I have run The Malthouse Equestrian Centre here in Bushton since 1987.

I am a qualified riding instructor and I have been teaching young and old for over forty years. I have bred and trained my own horses for dressage and eventing and along the way shown my home bred horses to a high standard. One of them was RyeTangle, Champion of Champions at the Horse of The Year Show.

I still teach and guide people with their own horses and would welcome guests who wish to explore our lovely Wiltshire countryside. Should you prefer to do some schooling the indoor school is available for your sole use at any time of day with or without an instructor.
